Filling up partially existing festivals

I want to add data for older festival. But some of them already exist partially. I think someone added the parts needed for live recordings.

The problem is now, that this recordings are added at the day sub event. When I now enter the remaining day and stage sub events, some of the relations look misplaced. Example: Wacken Open Air 2019, Day 2 - MusicBrainz

Should I leave the the “recorded at” relation as is or change it to the more granular stage sub event? I don’t want to mess up anything and I don’t want extra work, so I think I should leave it as is?

The only thing I have to change in the example is the main performer. Remove it there and add it to the appropriate stage sub event. But after that, the Unleashed recording (Recording “Hammer Batallion” by Unleashed - MusicBrainz) will look misplaced.

Any advice? I want the data entered but no extra work and no messing with guidelines.

I guess in general it would still be fine as-is, since it’s not wrong, and you are certainly not obligated to do more work than you want to!

But it seems the guidelines are clear that, in a perfect world, we always prefer the most granular level for the relationship: Style / Relationships - MusicBrainz

Moving it to the stage makes a lot of sense to me.
