Feedback and support thread for the Pulsewidth a-tisket instance

Submit ISRCs doesn’t seem to work. After logging into Spotify it just goes back to the same login screen.

Working fine for me. I’d exempt the site from any pop-up blockers, etc. you might have on.

If possible the process for getting the cover art from Spotify needs an update so it grabs the highest resolution.

I have recently learned that Spotify does have higher than 640x640 resolutions but a-tisket (also Harmony and the MB: Enhanced Cover Art Uploads script) doesn’t grab anything higher. I am not sure where the differences lie but sites like https://covers.musichoarders.xyz/ can find the higher Spotify resolutions, so I imagine it should be possible for a-tisket to do as well.

I’m not sure if it’s possible but when you add links to spotify etc for artist pages it would be super handy if it could add the Credited to for each link so artists with slightly different names on spotify etc would be credited as such in the spotify link.

If it’s possible then it’s not documented here Development/Seeding/Artist Editor - MusicBrainz Wiki

That spotify trick is really cool!

It seems that Image Max URL can do it as well and that one has code showing how its done: GitHub - qsniyg/maxurl: Finds larger/original versions of images and videos

Just learned about Harmony today. :exploding_head:
If it’s the successor and recommended option then there should be some kinda notice on the a-tisket page. Maybe even a redirect?

It still has some issues. The main one is the lack of Apple Music country distribution. So, I use both and compare. It is good though for importing those Apple Music releases that have videos and its broadening support of other services. So, yes, it’s good, but just know the differences.

Harmony is a fabulous tool, but is definitely not a 1-to-1 replacement for A-Tisket (yet). Both have their strengths and weaknesses. For me, the primary missing features are duplicate/existing release group lookup, and album art dimensions between DSPs. I strongly but respectfully disagree that a redirect would be appropriate at this time.

For a few days this link no longer works for me.
The message always comes: ‘The website is not accessible’
To create new releases is still possible
So the link still works but as soon as I try to transmit the ISCR’s I get this message.

Yes the ISRC submission component provided by https://d.ontun.es/ is currently offline

Hi Sp00kyFoxCool, thank you for the information and the tool

Where does a-tisket get the track details from when importing from Spotify? https://atisket.pulsewidth.org.uk/?cached=825646411252-d_0-s_1qGSoIDWNFmfUgyognQGNH-i_0 has the wrong track numbers and ISRCs because Spotify’s doing its classic trick of substituting tracks if they’re not available, but https://atisket.pulsewidth.org.uk/cached/spotify/albums_1qGSoIDWNFmfUgyognQGNH.json has the correct links to the tracks on the release (eg https://open.spotify.com/track/5OO9hcsQR8Ae9cFKjxs3xJ vs https://open.spotify.com/track/6JrmglKffvzzCZCtMEdUtk). It doesn’t have the ISRCs though, so where are those from?

I ask because I’ve imported unavailable releases like this without any problems in the past but noticed this issue yesterday, so I’m assuming something’s changed on Spotify’s end. Harmony is also affected: Late Night Tales: The Flaming Lips – Harmony

I’ve noticed this past week they have all been screwy. The old a-tisket has them right, but the new one & harmony doesn’t. Seems odd to me. Has even been splitting up mediums into many.
