Over the past few months I’ve done a lot of work on cleaning up the Fats Waller area. His main artist entry has been merged from 37 pages of recordings down to 12, and his main backing group Fats Waller and His Rhythm from 18 pages to 6. This was only possible thanks to dedicated Waller discographers, most recently Stephen Taylor whose book “Fats Waller on the Air” includes his discographic work.
Along the way, I came across a number of releases that could use some further attention, which I collected onto a wiki page. Some are lacking art and/or disc IDs; others have questionable track lengths for certain tracks. If anyone has any of these, or has access to a copy in their local library, it’d be great if you could fill in some of the gaps.
