They are the same person and I think they should me merged. I dont know how to do this cos a lot of the works are under the name Eugene Dixon. Some one willing to explain or do it for me?
When you merge two artists, you are asked if you want keep the original names. It then keeps them as aliases.
So when you do the merge, don’t tick the box and all the credits stay as they are now.
Also add “Eugene Dixon” as an alias for “Gene Chandler” and set that as “Legal Name”

That all looks good. The important bit being the “don’t rename”. This means after the merge you’ll look at the works and still see “Eugene Dixon” on the credits.
