Does anyone know what "Vocals Directed by" is supposed to mean?

I keep on finding this type of credit in K-Pop albums, it seems to usually be engineers credited as such or some idols that were involved in the song’s process. However, I don’t know which type of relationship this represents in MusicBrainz. I took the liberty of assigning them as “vocal arranger” but I’m not 100% sure if this is correct.

I would read that as “vocal coach” or “person who tells you how to sing”. Or worst case “person in charge of the auto-tune box”.

I agree that “Vocal Arranger” seems the best match using current relationships.

choral director. vocal arranger.
and in the terms of the modern music which can be be mix-n-match to anything… the guy that builds the stems (are they still called stems).
