Do you know of any such uses for CDs?

No but I’m glad whoever did this did it with CD-R’s.

In Poland, a CD-R costs 1PLN, or 25 cents.

Three CDs cost 0.75 dollars.

The whole thing can be sold for $30.

Really, in Australia some original CD’s are going for that price, now that vinyl became a fashion statement hahaha

If you have vinyl, you’re cool.

Thank you, I have lots, I sold lots too, I grew up before CD’s were even a thing.
CD’s are great, I don’t really miss vinyl.

At house parties, one person was always assigned to turn the vinyl sides. He couldn’t even dance with a girl.

Hahaha… and that would have been me, for sure. I love watching records play. So mesmerizing. One thing I miss using CD’s or PC.

A few CD players do show the CD spinning while playing.
I like them (except the Bang and Olufsen, which ironically always looked so cheap, cumbersome and fragile to me).

True but you can’t beat a vinyl record when it comes to aesthetics. CD’s, better sound, always.
