I have recently come across artists with official discord servers as communities for their fans. Are these officially supported? When I paste the https://discord.gg/ invite links in they don’t automatically select a link type so I am wary of adding. If they are acceptable, what would be the proper link type? Online communities?

I was actually curious about this. I used IRC like one times 20 years ago and have no idea how it works, but pretty much every community I’ve been in for years uses discord, so I am quite used to it.
