I was listening to U-Kiss’s Collage yesterday when I realized one track (7) is a solo featuring an unnamed artist, and upon looking up the other tracks, another (6) is apparently a duo. It doesn’t say this anywhere on the packaging or on digital releases, but there are plenty of fan-uploaded videos on youtube confirming it. Is this kind of information okay to add to MB, either by changing the track/recording artist for the specific songs, or would it be better to add as “performed by” relationships?
I’m sure which U-Kiss members are on each track, but for the featuring on 7, I’m unfamiliar with the voice and can only find one youtube video saying it’s Yulhee from Laboum. This would make sense as Laboum was from the same company and Yulhee was still a trainee when the song was released, and it’s common for Kpop companies to have release songs featuring unnamed trainees. But since I can’t really confirm it I’m not sure if I should credit her by name or as [unknown] or just leave it out. There’s also a short narration at the beginning of track 5 that could be her as well or another unknown artist.
I’m sure I’ll come across more situations like these so I’d like to learn the proper way to handle them. Any help is appreciated!
