Cover or not cover. that is the question

So we have “Tout petit la planète”. a 1978 Plastic Bertrand’s song

and The Upstairs’s interpretation here

and here

On youtube, I. Sandelin is credited as composer and there’s no mention on Bertrand’s work.
But for me that’s seems like a cover anymore and i think we could merge the works.
Am I wrong ?

As it sounds the same,
As there is no reference for Sandelin writing credits (he’s either recording performer or recording arranger):

We can remove Sandelin relationships and merge works.

These recordings are remixes of the original recording.

Now is a remix a cover?

I guess no.
Recording artist should be Plastic Bertrand, and the remixer (Sandelin / The Upstairs?) should just be a relationship.
