Just wondering again what to do with composite releases like anniversary editions that includes bonus CD, which are from other release groups, like a concert CD or compilation CD…
We either…
- are missing those includes and excerpt relationship on release to release group level (or even release to release, sometimes), or
- have to split those special editions out of their main album release group into a new compilation of their own to be able to link them as includes or excerpt to the other release groups
Some of these specific edition (composite releases) examples:
- 莎木（シェンムー） Orchestra Version (release) includes 2 singles
- The Bends (release) includes excerpts from at least one concert DVD (release group)
- Station to Station (release) includes concert CD (release group)
