Claudio Arrau complete Beethoven piano recordings, mixed style

I noticed that in this release there are mixed styles for the piano sonatas. Some sonatas are titled in the form of “Piano Sonata No. X” while others are using the form “Sonata for Piano No. X”. I was looking at the artwork both in musicbrainz and discogs and couldn’t find an explanation for this.

Is this just an overlook from whoever edited/entered this data? Is it worth normalizing? It irks me.

My only guess if the artwork lists them all the same is that the boxset was added by reusing existing discs that had them entered differently. Feel free to fix them to follow the style on the boxset itself.

Oh, I found scans online. They are listed as “Piano Sonata No. X”.
