Classical event style guide

Is there a style guide for classical events?
The Event / Setlist style guide implies that, for classical events, composers are listed as the artists rather than the performers. This makes sense in line with classical releases, but I can’t find anything that explicitly states this or give other guidance for classical events.

Not really  I don’t think a lot of people currently add full classical setlists, so it’s never been discussed that I can remember. That doc page (keep in mind it’s not even a guideline really) was based on an event I added a long time ago, and with the idea that since there was only one set of performers performing the whole thing, it made sense to set the composers instead. But I have never really thought much about how it could work for a situation where different performers perform different composers’ works - maybe someone else is already adding these things (such as classical competitions) and has a good idea for it?

Both composer and performers are usually considered equally important. For the setlist, I’d base it on how it is presented by the organisers of the event.

Also this request and the answer might be of interest concerning setlists: https://tickets.metabrainz.org/browse/MBS-14166
