I opened a CD in my player but it said MB doesn’t have the info but it is listed here.
The album is Malt Shop Memories; Finger Poppin’ Time.
So how do I get that info to download and populate the player?
I assume it is this one: https://musicbrainz.org/release/adefa657-9cd0-45dd-a6b4-7a3206bf7ae4
Fire up Picard and Lookup CD and then Submit DiscID to attach it to the release. Ideally check it is really the same edition, barcode, catno, etc.
That’s a 2xCDs compilation? See https://musicbrainz.org/release/adefa657-9cd0-45dd-a6b4-7a3206bf7ae4
This release doesn’t have any discid attached so I guess that’s the reason your player doesn’t find it.
You may add missing discids using Picard following instructions at Attaching a Disc ID to a Release — MusicBrainz Picard v2.11 documentation
I found the discid using Linux utility cd-discid. But I couldn’t figure out how to upload this to MB. (I guess you need picard?) anyway here are the two discid’s maybe someone can upload them(please)
cd 1 :15 150 12358 23810 36009 49418 60986 72084 84615 94608 107343 119655 132244 144823 157399 169467 180440

Thanks very much
Picard can also run on Linux. It can then read and upload the DiscID in one go.
Or maybe you can paste your log on this? https://eac-log-lookup.blogspot.com
This tool should never be used for MusicBrainz disc ID.
It has 3 bugs:
And it seems they will never be fixed.
Please use musicbrainz-isrcsubmit (.py
not .exe
) or Picard to submit your disc ID.
These wrong outputs would give (IF YOU DON’T HAVE DATA SESSION AFTER AUDIO TRACKS!! copy control CD, opendisc, enhanced CD, CD Extra, CD+) these disc ID submit URL:

cd 2:https://musicbrainz.org/cdtoc/attach?toc=1+15+170944+150+12550+25119+36593+49621+60228+71546+83966+96676+108450+119672+130475+141607+151004+161950
They do match track times for release @Zas found.
Thank you. I used isrcsubmit and it worked! for both cd’s.
Thanks again.
