This question directly relates to the above recording.
I think the editor who added the album/recording intended to show that the artist is also performing vocals on the track when normally they do not ever sing. It seems quite redundant and I imagine this must mess with metadata handling and Picard, no?
I added the vocal credit to the recording relationship but wanted to double-check, just in case, before removing the feature that I was not misunderstanding something.
Not sure why there are any featured artist on the track listing as the only link is to https://www.extrememusic.com/albums/3560 and it shows no featured artist at all. The only time Iād add an artist featuring themselves is if it was that way explicitly on the release. And then, only use a ācredited asā, i.e. Thomas Bergersen as āThomas Bergersen feat. Thomas Bergersenā that way, the same artist isnāt linked twice.

Makes sense. In regards to the other features, they are not listed on extreme music yet they are known, so theoretically they are credited somewhere. The question is, where?
I assume the editor got their info from the TSFH fandom page Catch Me | Two Steps From Hell Wikia | Fandom, but where did the fandom people get their info from then?
I wouldnāt give too much weight to a fan wiki, but it might be a good place to find sources. usually wikis will have an edit history, but I canāt seem to find it on the mobile page (that said, Iām not super familiar with Fandom wikis on mobile)ā¦

Iād look to see if this release is on other streaming services, i.e. Apple Music, Spotify, etc. and see if they have the same release. You could also check Jaxsta or TIDAL for credits.
Unfortunately, this is one of their industry albums, so it is only available through extreme music when it doesnāt have a physical release and Jaxta only has info on their public albums distributed through CDBaby.
So would it be best to remove all of the featured artists?
No need to assume, you can always ask them in their edit notes. I have left a comment directing them to this discussion
The āfeat.ā information seems pretty robust, they may have come from file tags, letās see. Looking at the release it kinda makes sense to ādouble creditā the artist in this case, imo, if thatās how the files credit them.

Yeah, I might not remove them just because Iām not as familiar with that site. They might not ever show feat. artists.

Fandom has always been pretty useless on mobile in my experience
