I was entering some bootleg recordings that are being shared via torrent sites. But when entering the event details I got a bit confused, or overwhelmed. I have several questions that are all releated to entering this event and recording…
Let’s start at the event.
That one is the event for the two days. It has two parts, one for each day. The days have the artists linked, not the main one. Is that correct?
Then I added another event as part of the day for that single show. I now feel that that is superfluous, as they are already part of the day event. Should that single show event be deleted?
Then the recording. I added a release group and release. I cannot repeat it but this one time I managed to add a reference to the event from the release group:
The event is also referenced from the release. I cannot edit a release group and add an event so I assume the one I managed to do should be removed?
The event is referenced from the recordings of the songs. That makes kind of sense. The release is mentioned at the event entry (well, the songs as well), and the recordings are for the songs. So I would leave those references at both release and recordings. Is that correct?
