I batch added works for recordings in a release but the work names were taken from the recording names before edits for them went through, so they all share the translated English names instead of the original Japanese names. Is there a way (script or otherwise) to make edits for all the work names without having to go through them one-by-one?
No, there is no way else than edit one by one, I’m afraid.
