Artist credit on this single

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions about the artist credit for these releases:

  1. On Spotify, the title is listed as “Touch (ft. YEONJUN of TOMORROW X TOGETHER)”.
  2. The album cover displays “KATSEYE with YEONJUN”.
    see cover
  3. On Apple Music, the artist credit is “KATSEYE, YEONJUN” (which typically imports as “KATSEYE & YEONJUN”).

Given these differences, which artist credit should I use?

Thanks for your help! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
If it’s convenient for you, please vote for the content I have edited regarding these releases.

By the way, when i search the ISRC, the artist name displayed is also “KATSEYE & YEONJUN.

I usually go with the title and credits from the cover image (when it includes them).

Different digital platforms have their own policies for formatting titles and credits, and I figure that the cover image is closer to what the artist/label intended. (Even in the case of a Bandcamp release that was uploaded by the artist, I usually stick with what’s on the cover – I assume that more thought went into creating the image, and the text on the webpage often includes additional words to improve searchability.)

Yes, I have always done it this way. If there is a conflict between the artist credit on the digital platform and the artist credit on the cover, I will use the one from the cover. If the cover is not available, I will look for images of the physical disc’s back or tracklist.
