Acoustids not transferring to targets in recording merges

if you have a recording merge, any acoustids found in any of the source recordings but not in the target will be lost once the edit applies. they do not get transferred to the target. say, if you keep a record of the acoustid(s) you had used as a reference for the merge in the edit note, you can still access those acoustids at acoustid.org but what you’ll see listed there are either the recording(s) by titles or just their former mbids if they’d been merged (that will take you to the new target…

AcoustID linked to MusicBrainz recording, but data from MB not seen in AcoustID page

Hi, During last week I submitted acoustic fingerprints of recordings from several albums. Today I noticed that Picard is not able to recognize the recordings from these albums based on their acoustic fingerprints. I went to MusicBrainz and AcoustID to see what’s up. I can see the fingerprint in Musicbrainz: https://musicbrainz.org/recording/aba09d2f-761c-4ed2-84b7-aa0c8574371e/fingerprints, but in AcoustID I can only see the MBID of the recording, not its title, artist or length from MusicBr…
