33 1/3 books - could this count as a series?

Hello,
Would it be appropriate to create a release group series for albums which have had a 33 1/3 book written about them?

I guess I’m thinking along the lines of Rolling Stone 500 great albums of all time etc…

Thanks.

There shouldn’t any restrictions on release series other than there is a common theme or reason for the members of the series to be in the series. There will also need to be an ordering of the series such as date or in the Rolling Stone Magazine example, each album’s rating

Fantastic, thanks! The books are all numbered on the publisher’s website:

It would be good if you could write a small description in the annotation too.

I like series like this as you accidentally find something new.

Done! https://musicbrainz.org/edit/100149597 in case anyone feels inclined to vote for it…

Yes, agreed although so far I’ve mainly rediscovered things when I see there’s a 33 1/3 about them, I’m sure there are loads that I’ve not heard though - could be a good prompt to check out albums that are wildly out of my usual listening genres…

Thanks to the person who added J Dilla - Donuts! Going to listen to this later (and if I like it I might read the book!)
