Which number on this vinyl label is the catalog number?

I’m editing my first recording and am stumped. In this photo, is the catalog number “2065 292” or “PRCL S-5261”? (Addendum: I found a photo for B side. It lists “2065 292” and “PRCL S-5262”.) How would I determine this on subsequent submissions?

A handful of recordings have already been assigned to Pleiades Records, but their catalog numbers are all over the map. https://musicbrainz.org/label/6ddba2bf-43a4-4844-b5e5-507049ad874f

Now there’s a coincidence as I done a similar one earlier. According to what Picard chose for mine which was POLD 5007 I would say in your case the catalogue number is PRCL S-5261. I’m not sure what the other number is but I would take a guess that it’s more a regional code and batch number.

I’d say 2065 292 is the cat number

PRCL S-5262 would be Matrix/Runout (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_number)

Here’s an example (with both sides): https://www.discogs.com/Goddo-Chantal/release/4538813

PRCL is different depending on the sides, the cat number doesn’t change.

Yeah, the number in parenthesis is usually for that recording. Kinda like the ISRC is today but back then you could tell if it was the same recording by that number.

Makes sense! Thank you for that logical bit of knowledge.
