In most videos talking about Picard, they have it go to the left side where the Unclustered and Clustered inhabit. Is this normal or what does this mean, any who? I’m very confused and want to make sure I’m using this app correctly. I admit that I’m also just confused still on what Clustered, Unclustered and whatever is happening in my situation would like a bit of help on what to do when whatever happens.
These files were tagged before (with Picard). They have MBIDs and Picard knows to which release they belong.
You can drag them to the left (to “clusters”) if you like to “scan” them (look if there are matching acoustIDs / write these acoustIDs to the files).¹
But that is not necessary. If it is the correct release, you can leave it on the right side.
¹) BE AWARE: A “Scan” will not necessarily find the correct release! AcoustIDs belong to recordings and the recordings may appear in many releases. After scanning the files, you possibly have to drag the files back to the correct release - before you Save.
There are so many (very crappy, imo) compilations called “The Breeze” or “Summer Breeze” that I have thought about trying to collect as many as possible
