What does the golden glow in Picard's cover art display indicate?

From the “today I learned” department: In Picard if you select items that have more than one cover art attached you see this nice stack of covers:

But sometimes the first displayed cover shows a golden glow effect:

While I noticed that effect, I never actually looked into what it means. And since I was not very active with Picard development when this stack display got implemented in 2017 and it basically just worked I never really looked at the code either.

Turns out this glow indicates that the selected items have different cover art and do not all share the same cover art. Without the glow all selected items have the same set of cover art. For the technically more curious, this little detail was added here.

One of those small things that are quite nice if you know them :slight_smile:
