It seems like the option to submit a cluster as a release through Picard is fairly limited. I see that it can submit artist, album, title, label, length, etc, but there doesn’t seem to be any support for basic tags like date or even more advanced tags like the MBIDs. Exactly what data is supported when adding releases through the picard interface? and are there any plans to expand it to more fully support seeding releases? Is it possible to add releases with multiple artists and join phrases?

I’m not completely sure what you mean by some of the other stuff - doesn’t it already fully support seeding a release? The concept of seeding MBID’s into MB makes my brain go inside out 
MBIDs are definitely included, I use it to match recordings when adding a release without the messing around.
