Is there a way to get release group relationships and use them as tags?
I’m trying to get the series relationship so I can create a tag and group a same series if needed but reading the tags documentation I can’t find a way to fetch this data.

Picard does not currently have any support for Series entities at all. You might be able to do something with a plugin for now, otherwise it depends on this ticket to get implemented:
