I’m trying a new scrobbler (pano-scrobbler), but this particular one only asks for my token and not my user ID - is it feasible to log in with just this? I ask as I can set it up for last.fm, but it won’t log in to listenbrainz

Yes, that works fine.
Submitting listens and logging in are two different things. Having a token for submitting listens has been working well for us.
That makes sense (I think). Thanks (and now back to my original problem, on another thread…) 
Excellent option - Pano Scrobbler (PS).
Been using PS for some years on android via the notification panel to Love 
or Not.
PS is a no-brainer that’ll catch Us slipping…
I chose to Scrobble to last.fm and subscribe to last’s Pro which grants me full Edit controll over every track.
Spotify is the only letdown I have with that staff’s refusal to correct their Public/Private APIs to PREVENT double scrobbles…
