i have a hard time to get the naming of title and album in classical music as i want . I use the Classical Extras plugin .
[UPDATE] Why I want this. Most players out there know only about Artist, track and Album (and Folder). Mobile clients ( which I use ) are the worst. And Bluetooth connection to an older car shows just these 3 values.
So i want a way to dumb down the sophisticated structure of MB to this level. And the original ‘Title’ value uses the first umpteen Charakters for the Work, which is already visible in the ‘Album’. That is a practical problem for mobile players
As an Example I use ‘Das schlaue Füchslein’ a german recording Iin czec) of Janaceks work. Piicards finds the release id https://musicbrainz.org/release/2f9329bd-d783-4b6f-b923-913abd5e899a and gets the data fine .
I personally dont like the following and would like to change it automatically:
The albun shows up as “Janáček: Das schlaue Füchslein“, I would prefer “Das schlaue Füchslein” which is in Release Name.
The Title is (for example in track 8 ) “Das schlaue Füchslein: Act II: Oh! (Bystrouška)“ and I would prefer “Act II: Oh! (Bystrouška)“ which I dont find in the variables at all.
Of course i can solve these problems with manual work but I would prefer not to.
Any ideas ?
