Suggestion: SoundExchange ID input for Recording Details

Hello MusicBrainz/MetaBrainz. I hope that you developers and moderators will read this.

MusicBrainz offers plenty of Details and Attributes options for Works, such as ISWC input and performance rights organizations input.

For Recordings however, there’s only a Details input for ISRCs, which is great.
But I think that there’s room for improvement.
I think that Recordings should also be given an Attributes input option, which could give the option to add SoundExchange IDs for documentation.
It’s already possible to add Work IDs for BMI, ASCAP, SOCAN, etc, and SoundExchange offers a similar service for Recordings. I would love to be able to add my SoundExchange ID (SXID) to my recordings on MusicBrainz!

Is SoundExchange’s database publicly searchable? If it isn’t, I don’t think having an option to add such IDs would be viable.

I see https://isrc.soundexchange.com/#!/search
If I search Bowie, I find results showing ISRC but no such SXID.

Then again, in Canada ISWCs are not publicly available through PRO SOCAN (https://www.socan.com/controller). They’re only available through logged in members of their own works. Yet ISWCs for Canadian artists are documented on Musicbrainz. It’s no different from SoundExchange.

There’s a way around that: http://iswcnet.cisac.org/ shows ISWCs for works by SOCAN-affiliated artists.

That’s awesome! I didn’t know about that tool! Thanks a million!
