Submit ratings with Picard

In Picard Options -> Metadata there is an option “Submit ratings to MusicBrainz”.
If you check this option Picard is supposed to submit your ratings to MusicBrainz.
The tracks will be rated with your account.

Do you know how this is supposed to work ? How do you submit the ratings of your tracks?
I was not able to submit any rating…

P.S. I’m using the latest version 1.4.0 dev7 where the old generic “Submit” button has been replaced by a new “Submit AcoustIDs” button.
Although I doubt it, my problem may have to do with this change …

As soon as you set a rating in Picard it should get submitted to MusicBrainz. Just lookup that track in MusicBrainz and check.

If that does not work, please provide the outpzt of Help > Show Error/Debug log

That button always was only a “submit fingerprint” button, but the generic appearance made one believe it did more. Hence that change.

Here is the debug error messages I get:
E: 15:51:44 Network request error for https://musicbrainz.org:443/ws/2/rating/?client=MusicBrainz%20Picard-1.4.0dev7: Error downloading https://musicbrainz.org:443/ws/2/rating/%3Fclient=MusicBrainz%20Picard-1.4.0dev7 - server replied: Not Found (QT code 203, HTTP code 404)

if wonder if you see the same error message or not.
I guess I should open an incident.

This was fixed in https://github.com/metabrainz/picard/commit/2113a13d60888bfced7c3bc7c960944c50b1be31

So perhaps you can download a newer nightly build.
