Seems stats are not updating to account for linked listens. I have the feeling this has been the case for a while, but I have not kept track of it, so I don’t know for certain. However, I’ve been putting the effort of linking my listens, especially before the start of cycles, like on Sunday or at the end of the month. Yet, I still see, for instance, that stats for last month show up unlinked (I’d expect it to update halfway through the month, which hasn’t been the case). This makes it somewhat complicated to rely on ListenBrainz for listening stats, when you can’t tell if the information correctly reflects reality. Especially when it isn’t clear there might be something wrong (e.g. seeing a linked entry on your stats, with an unlinked version nearby vs. only seeing a linked entry near the top, not knowing there’s more unlinked ones hidden further down the list, under “View more…”).
