After tagging a huge collection of classical files from Johann Sebastian Bach, I detected that some filenames with German words are no more complete.
Please have a look at this example:
As you can see Picard says that my locally loaded - already metadata tagged - files are all fine (showing a green check mark).
The metadata shows the German title as
Cantata, BWV 19 “Es erhub sich ein Streit”: I. Coro “Es erhub sich ein Streit”
But if you look at the filename in the Picard Status Bar, you can see that the letter “s” in the word “sich” is missing. On both occurrences in the filename.
Do you know any reason that could result in “eating” this character “s” in the filename?
Example release: 230a08d9-0488-41fe-b331-4c0787288a14 ← CD4
Example recording: 2b7ea176-3c64-4488-8bdd-713556572f4d
This is just an example. There are other German words where the character “s” is no more part of the filenames:
as in “schickt” or “schnöde”.
Any ideas?
