I have encountered some examples of books that are not strictly part of the series such as the J. K. Rowling books: Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, and Quidditch Through the Ages.
Both of these books are part of the Harry Potter universe. Do we add them to the Harry Potter Series Harry Potter (Series) – BookBrainz or keep them separate?
If they are to be included should they be numbered in some way?
I think we should add them, but without number.

Apart from a bug I just encountered, an alternative method for listing companion books could be the use of the Series relationship role ‘inspired’. The inspired Works are shown like this on the Series page:

I just realized that relationship is the wrong way around. If it stated the Work was inspired by the Series, then this method would make sense.
