Renaming Files and Importing Metadata for Remixes

Hi everyone,

I’m new to using MusicBrainz Picard and I have one question that might have simple solution, but I’m struggling to figure them out.

Importing metadata for remixes: I have some remix tracks that the system doesn’t recognize automatically. I found the correct metadata using the online tagger, but I’m not sure how to import it into my local tracks. Could someone explain how to do this or point me to helpful resources?

I use MAC.

You can load any release or recording you find on MusicBrainz into Picard and use it to tag you files. See

You can also drag and drop the URL to a release / recording from you browser’s URL input bar into Picard, or paste the URL or MBID into Picard’s search field.
