Radio Sessions: Recording and Broadcast Dates

I’d like some clarification regarding dates for radio sessions.

The release The Complete Peel Sessions 1978-2004 comprises recordings made for a radio show. They were recorded in a studio, then later broadcast on the show. Currently, most of the recordings are associated with the date the session was broadcast (as shown on the cover art), although some of the dates are just wrong.

Shouldn’t the dates used in these relationships be the recording date? If so, how do we annotate the recording with the broadcast date?

Relationships with recording dates, then we can use recording comment for both recording and original broadcast dates.
