This project of mine here: x#!*┦97 - MusicBrainz uses symbols that streaming services do not like and so I altered the project name for streaming services obviously causing a problem with ListenBrainz. I added the alternate spelling as an alias but that doesn’t seem to be doing it. Anybody know what to do?
Aliases aren’t used for mapping yet. Which is kind of a shame as foreign artists could benefit from it

What problems is it causing?
The artist name on Spotify is “xhashsymbolexclamationpointasteriskrightdoublevertical97” , so I would assume the issue is that the incoming listens from music services will never be matched to " x#!*┦97"

Relevant ticket.
Almost all Hebrew artist on Spotify the listens come in with their Latin script names.
The good news is that there was a discussion about this recently on the IRC chat.

I think I need to alter something on my end or have a special privilege to access that page because I get “No issues were found to match your search” when I click the link.
Oh I’m sorry you were just trying to document a common problem or something I’m not supposed to have access.
