Pressing Page Up/Down Keys deselect the selected items/refocuses selection bar - macOS Problem or?

On macOS - If I select some items:

…and then press Page Down

The items become un-selected … the selection bar moved.

Page Up/Down should be functioning the same as the scroll wheel or using the window slider.

I hope it’s not another stupid Qt5 thing (that will never get fixed because they don’t care. )

…maybe this is related to not keeping items in the other pane selected when switching between them?

Select some stuff on the Left. Click on something in the Right and all the Left stuff is now unselected.
