Does anyone here know of any good (and preferably free) platforms that allow you to create blogs quick and easy.
Sure I have my own web hosting but that’s a bit of a faff to be honest when I just wanna write something and get it out there quickly…
I know back inthe day there were Blogger (now Google) and Wordpress, but didn’t know if there’s anything more popular and trendy these days?
I’ve also been looking around for a blogging platform, and it seems so many of them aren’t free these days. I have found a few options for if you’re self-hosting or have your own website, but haven’t tried any yet myself
Tumblr isn’t a bad option tho, unless you want the blog available on your website. there’s also more proper blogging platforms on the Fediverse too, like WriteFreely, which could probably be self-hosted if you’d like (Reddit thread about similar)
