Couldn’t find discussion of this or any mention in the documentation. Is there a way to tell Picard to reload the file list in the file browser section?
If I add/delete/move files in a terminal window while Picard is running, Picard’s file browser doesn’t update. I have to open a Finder window and drill down to the changed files/folders and then Picard will update it’s list.
The file browser watches for changes, but I don’t know how exactly file watching is handled on macOS. Your description indicates that this is maybe tied to Finder and only changes in Finder cause notifications.
There is currently no option to manually refresh the file list, see the following ticket:
Thanks for the info. I’ll look into file reporting in finder, which I think may be the real culprit here.
