Persist tag changes when saving in renaming scripts

Hi guys I’m new to this thing and I need some help here.

Say if I do something like

$set(%artist%,%replace(%artist%,;,\,))

Can I persist this change into the tags of the file?

Don’t set this in the renaming script, but instead in Options > Scripting. It will then be applied to the data loaded from MusicBrainz and be available in the tags.
