What interests me is what versions do we have, what original recording, what remixes, what acoustic version, edited version, what live versions…
I want to know, do I have this one or not?
Have I ever listened to it (ratings)?
Usually there are not 36 studio versions by one artist of 1 work, usually just 1.
If 2 or 3, then you will have version name or comments to distinguish them.
But if you split remasters, you will see 108 studio versions of each song.
And remasters are not really interesting, artistically, unlike versions.
