Options won't save after upgrading to 2.9 from 2.8.5

If I go to Options and click “Make It So!”, I get this error:

'MetadataOptionsPage' object has no attribute 'current_scripts'

It happens even if I save no changes to my options.

I noticed this “Metadata” section is missing in the Options:

I can’t seem to find my local save files even in the AppData\Local folder. Where are they hiding?
