Reviews
julian45:
[mailed in] during the week of summit, i got jira upgraded to the latest version, and i’m happy to report that this fixed most of the “activity” view-related issues : D
over the last little while, i’ve also been working on some OS upgrades for a few of our servers, as well as patching systems for all the vulns you’ve heard about in the last week or so
(if you’re worried, we only use php for the blog and the MB wiki, and those were both promptly patched; no emudhra certificates anywhere either ;))
on that note, i also worked with our lead service developers like bitmap and monkey to make sure MB/LB/BB dependencies were upgraded to use fixed versions of node/python/etc.; many thanks to them for their quick work
JadedBlueEyes:
[Jade] It’s been a long and exciting week at MatrixConf but TLDR is:
the most watched talks in order are my talk, the state of the union keynote, and also my talk
I met lots of cool people and have had interesting discussions
I am finalising a contract with Element right now
Also preparing for the GSoC summit next week
I am hoping to have the delayed mb-graphql and mb-mail-service discussions from the summit at some point but have been too busy, ideally I’ll find a time when people are free
Also considering stuff around fosdem, ie speaking / attending this year
(although probably should actually as a relay for Silona Bonewald to transfer knowledge from the Matrix events WG who traditionally run a fringe hackathon)
outsidecontext:
Not so much last week. After the summit I got greeted with a work week full of dealing with a variety of security related issues. Not much time for MB, except some minor code review and bugfix PRs on the weekend.
As zas already mentioned, we’ll have a bugfix release this week
Gopal7387:
[Gopal] I worked on the LB-1971 LPs on the Floor PR. Focused on cover alignment and gap fixes and pushed the new changes.
Thanks a lot to MonkeyDo and Aerozol for that. Its great improvement for the Art Creators page.
Also, I have opened a fix for the mobile touch issue on the progress bar, LB-1965.
LB-1971 : Add options to Art Creator ‘LPs on the floor’
LB-1965 : Smooth progress bar animation and drag-to-seek support
ApeKattQuest_MonkeyPython:
last week I returned from Barcelona!
this week I:
slept
did some translation of CritiqueBrainz
Finished translation completely of the Picard barcodescanner!
have to deal with door fire-safety refurbishing nonsense
rn working on PANDEIRO aliases and then will do pandero
everyone give a big cheer for finally having the addition of these!
lioncat6:
[lioncat] Last week I’ve been on a bandcamp library for SAMBL with proper type definitions, to hopefully help with the jank a little bit. Other than that, a bunch of editing and I pushed a QOL update for the release seeder.
absent: garv thakre (3), jasje (3), waqib2992 (3), yateen (1), failure (1) (everyone with 3 missed meetings in a row removed from regulars, re-add yourself if you are back!)

You may have a copy\pasta typo - unless @reosarevok and @julian45 were doing exactly the same thing…

Hi! Thanks for pointing that out. To clarify, this was reosarevok’s review accidentally copy pasted for Julian’s. I have notified aerozol about it. He will fix it when he wakes up in a few hours.
I see… That makes sense as the post did start with:
I assumed it was a test to see if anyone was paying attention
