[ansh] Last week, I mainly worked on adding two more stats to YIM
And picked up couple of ticket which were bugging me for a very long time

[monkey] Last week was pretty much all Year In Music preparations.
I also helped mayhem with locking LB radio behind key
Some general community management and helping out new contributors
And a bit of investigation into a linting issue in LB, which turned out to be an issue in my code editor.

Yes, I was pretty much absent in recent weeks. Had a bit of an overload. But I missed you all : D
Last week I have been working a lot together with zas and rdswift on the new plugin system for Picard. This is shaping up nicely. zas really kicked this going again, and now we are fine tuning things like crazy.

[Jade] Last week I finished off my last exam and traveled back home for christmas!
did my semi-annual maintenence on [my calculator thingy], which got me a few nice feature improvements
Generally still writing up stuff in the background for the music project, because apparently you’re supposed to do all the writing before any code lol

last week I continued working on dropping unused account management code in MBS for the metabrainz accounts move, and made various changes to the “local accounts” feature for development after some testing, and also worked on polishing the login dialog
we had a brief meeting about the move on wednesday with another planned for tomorrow
also did a bunch of code review/testing for the MBS release today (thanks reosarevok for the release)

Last week I’ve submitted my first MB server PR in years for MBS-13257.

Additionally I prepared a few small fixes for Harmony which will be released together with the OTOTOY provider that I’ve finally managed to review.
And I had a discussion with atj about hosting improvements which will hopefully also avoid occasionally being blocked by Spotify.

Last week I was mostly working on a better interface for edit alias forms and edits that shows if a primary alias would be replaced by the edit
Other than that, I did code review, merged some PRs, looked at style bits, banned a lot of spam
And I flew to Spain, where I’ll be until early January

last week i was mostly at a conference
but i did some wrap-ups for the wiki upgrades, including upgrading to the now-latest-stable mediawiki version and fixing a bug with the vector 2010 skin introduced by, funnily enough, fixing a bug for mobile themes
as well as the usual patching and MB edits
oh and i also updated jira by a few versions to respond to an atlassian security bulletin

last week, i worked on improving the rate limits in BU so that we can impose granular rate limits in LB to deal with bots and unusual traffic on endpoints that are resource intensive.
discussed meb oauth stuff with bitmap and made decent progress on some of the tasks.
also, helped monkey with YIM testing and generated test run data for YIM 2025.

[mayhem] last week my digestion was still iffy, but I managed to get some work done, mostly the usual MeB tasks. But I did do some programming and trying to get back to technical work.
But now its clear that the digestion isn’t improving and that the parasite from india is back for the 4th time. Luckily I now have an appointment with the center for tropical diseases, so hopefully they can truly find the real parasite, rather than just a family doctor guessing.
So, the drama continues and I keep trying to get some work done between bouts of cramps. So not fun.
that said, I’m unsure about if I can attend a summit in india next year. right now that seems like a really bad idea.

Well, last week was mainly about Picard new plugin system
Basically we’re getting near an alpha version
Still few questions regarding the plugin API, some corners to round, but overall it works, we’ll probably ask few more testers soon
kudos to bitmap for testing on macosx, we would need a Windows user too (if they still exist)
And that’s it, I still have some admin tasks piling up, I will cope with them tomorrow

[Hemang Mishra] This week was good. Got some really good PRs from Nirvan Jain. Did reviews and more queries from new contributors.
Planning to open more issues for new contributors this week.

I was also pretty much absent in recent weeks. Just had an MB dev team meeting last week.
Otherwise started with checking bitmap’s external links editor refactor which should help with for the React conversion.

Last week I worked on a few listenbrainz issues and opened some PR. I worked on LB-1846 (playlist view mode), LB-1814 (album duration on album page) and LB-1882 (youtube number key seeking) i spent a lot of time going through the codebase and learned quite a bit from it progress was slow but I am continuing and trying to improve myself step by step

This week, I’ve been mainly working some more on Refactoring SAMBL to pure typescript as well as investigating issues caused by SoundCloud (seemingly) unintentionally blocking all ips from most VPNs and Hosting providers
Additionally, I’ve been working on implementing sorting for albums, artists, and redoing to filtering system to be more flexible. Also, (again lol) I am revamping the track list to show more information and Identify missing track info in MBz
