• I worked a bit of fixing up my listen count branch on monday.
• I worked on some accounting/invoicing and pushing our EU paypal account setup along.
• I setup a board meeting
• I had a conference call with another possible unicorn and coordinated the logistics of creating a new JSON data dump and JSON incremental data feed.
• Then I ran off to the mountains and played with hippies for the rest of the week.

I worked with several stealth startups getting them on forward paths with us.
I went through JIRA and got my tasks together in hopes of closing some tickets this week… also had some discussions on the MB user survey.
Worked with CallerNo6 on the verbiage changes for Home and About pages, and now getting the changes into Git to hopefully be reviewed by ruaok tomorrow.
I did my first bit of testing with Gentlecat and he has also been helping me with some Git know-how.

so gsoc results were announced last week and thank you all for having me
I worked on plugins 2.0 this week
and backporting patches to 1.4.2
and we just released 1.4.2
also, most of the plugins have now been ported to 2.0 Available Plugins - MusicBrainz Picard
we will be having a picard 2.0 meeting tomorrow
so those who want to pitch in are welcome to join

Should end in a day or two and after that I go home

I did support and wrote a lot of documentation for my stupid school app so I can finish school
I also introduced MB to a few representatives of MAFUN – Wikipedia who were in town in case they want to send me info on (or add info on) finno-ugric music
At least one guy seemed quite interested, but we’ll see if someone does get in touch
(one of the admins of the Erzya Wikipedia )

mostly schema change work
I merged everything and made a bunch of docker changes to allow us to test this against a new database, which took most of the week
there’s now a DB on williams where I successfully ran upgrade.sh, and I’m setting up an MBS instance at test.mb as we speak for people to play with

This week, I polished new medium attributes (still MBS-8393) to allow filtering attributes (type/value) by medium format. (e.g. SPARS code DDD won’t be available for vinyl, mould SID code won’t be available for cassette), that is, only pertaining will be proposed for editing.
I worked on WS query for work relationships, particularly recursive query MBS-9325 to retrieve main work. (This is related to Sophist_UK topic.)
Finally, I worked on PL/V8 prerequisite (basically JS support within PostgreSQL) for MBS-9080.

pestered both reosarevok and freso(sorry) to fix OTHER-294 so I could retroactively add tickets to fix versions, which should enable me to create nice reports and make it easier to link to Freso’s Community Recap ORG tickets - for once reo was not a slacker and thus it was fixed and I’ve done so.
also created missing tickets for instruments already added but without a ticket (ok’ed this with reo).
finally fixed the ngoni things! \o/
..aaand closed a bunch of tickets as non-fix

So, last Monday I published the Q1 community recap.
I dealt a bit with KEXP, and kept up a bit with the community in the various places we are (here, forums, Twitter, blog comments, …).
Finally got around to making last week’s meeting notes earlier today. >_>
I promise I won’t make them in the last hour this time!

I got back to implementing solr indexer. most of it is done now, I think
just need to update the test and try to run it with MBS again
finished implementing payment changes to the metabrainz website, deployed them
reviewed PRs for CB and helped with some small stuff

not much this week, usual maintenance, picard 1.4.2 planning + PR reviews, fixed a bunch of minor issues on servers related to ntp changes, and dodged fascism once again.

I continued work on the survey this week and worked with Quesito and gcilou_ on the UX part
I also got some great feedback from rdswift and Sophist_UK (and lots of others) which I incorporated today
The survey is really coming to a point where it seems like something we can release
