I use MusicBrainz Picard with great pleasure for years. Following upgrading to 2.02 after a few successful downloads the program began to give error “Could not download album…” I tried uninstall and install; including its name into the firewall for exception nothing changed. I read the forum that this may be related with server. I installed to Mac it worked well. But I need using it with pc.
Any comments will be appreciated

Please have a look at Help > Show Error/Debug Log when this loading error happens and post the output here.

Be warned that v2.02 has only just been released and does still seem to have a few teething issues. This includes a number of plugins that don’t quite work yet.
Posting the errors here will probably mean a quick fix from the bug squishers.

This looks like network requests are blocked very early. Can you check your Windows firewall settings?
Indeed, I use Bitdefender and I included Musicbrainz (Picard) as an exception to its Firewall.
Does this mean it’s working now, or did you have added it before and it was not working?
I very much suspect the firewall has something to do with it. Can you for tests disable it and try Picard?
Can you open https://picard.musicbrainz.org/api/v2/plugins/ in your browser on the same machine/system ?

Thank you so much for all your kind support. I found out by chance… This happened when the proxy server is checked for LAN in Browser. Google Chrome is sometimes making it spontaneously. The best for all.
