Missing Options Menu on Arch Linux

Hello,

I downloaded Picard via the Arch console and for some reason there is no options menu. I even looked through the config file and show_toolbar and show_menubar are both set to true. I’ve tried running it in an isolated environment (i.e., ignoring desktop customizations that are applied system-wide) and it still doesn’t show up.

Any ideas?

Do you see no menu bar at all? That would sound like a global menu is configured for your desktop.

What desktop environment are you using? E.g. KDE can be configured to have the application menu bar placed in a button submenu as part of the window title bar.

Turns out all I needed was a restart!

Yes. my menus are configured to be in the dock. I’m using KDE Plasma.

But, like I said, a restart fixed it.

Thanks!
