I want to merge these two editions:

But when I try to merge them the submit button stays greyed out and I don’t see a reason why.
Do I overlook something?
Where do you see a ‘submit’ button? After clicking ‘merge’ on each one, I see a box that says ‘Merge into selected entity’.
Yes, you have to click that button to merge the two entities. Then a submit button appears, and that is greyed out.
Ah, yes. Same for me. I tried both directions and got the same result.

No idea what is happening here, but I’m investigating.
I thought at first perhaps it was because of duplicate relationships, but I don’t think that’s it.

could it have something to do with collections?
one edition is in a collection but the other is not.
