Hey Apple LB users! As far as I’ve been aware it’s always been very difficult to submit listens from a machine running Apple Music.
User @scaglio (hope you don’t mind me tagging you!) has made a script to do just that.
Before I add it to the official LB submitter list it would be great if some users on a Apple machine/using Music.app could give it a test run.

The script can be run from Terminal, anyway I’ll add detailed instructions to wrap it in an application using Automator.

For anyone interested, I updated the instructions in the README. I also added a notification to appear when the script is started or stopped.
It’s quite rough, but all my scrobbles are done with this tiny script.
A quick update for anyone using this script: it does not work with macOS 26 Tahoe. It seems Music.app’s fault. Probably/Hopefully it will be fixed in the next releases.

Fixed for Tahoe 26.1!
One problem remains: all the tracks streamed from Apple Music have track number set to 0, so the MBID guess could be wrong. Didn’t happen in a few tests I made.
