so, an odd issue I just came across (which I can make a ticket for later today)…
I listened to WHAAAAT a few days ago, saw it was matched to the wrong recording, and matched it to the right recording. I didn’t wait to see that the cover art had changed, and when I listened to it today, I saw it had the wrong cover art, but it appears to be linked to the right recording (note how the recording links to the track on Spectacular Space sParty). the wrong release MBID is still linked as well (a live album, @ Rat Rave)
I suspect this is probably because linking a listen to a MB recording has no release info attached, so it doesn’t touch it
