Last.fm not importing listens to listenbrainz

Hi,

Trying to import data to listenbrainz from last.fm, but I get this error : We encountered an error while importing your listens from .
The error was as follows: “Error from the lastfm API while getting listens: {“message”:“Login: User required to be logged in”,“error”:17}”

Not sure what it means exactly since I am logged in to both websites. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I hope you found the trick to resolve your issue !

For posterity, you need to make your Last.FM recent history public in order for ListenBrainz to import your tracks.
In your LastFM privacy settings > Recent listening, make sure to untick “Hide recent listening information”.
