Japanese album but 99% of the track titles are English - What should the language be?

This is an old suggestion, and there’s been discussion of this in STYLE-424 - and I’m still unconvinced. Obviously nobody is asking for albums by Yo La Tengo to be marked as Multiple Languages because the artist name is Spanish. So it’s not as trivial as to say “look at credits and titles”.

The language and script is mostly only useful in regards of transcription pseudo-releases vs original releases.

And it’s in this case that there is a problem with the current guideline that ignores artist credits and also a problem with the [multiple scripts] proposed solution, that doesn’t help someone choosing the version they want, in their MB Tagger.

We could also make these attributes, lists instead of single values.
But we would still need to stop ignoring half of the tracklist (the artist credits half).
